Every year from September 15 through October 15, the Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosts the largest most comprehensive and inclusive program "Recognizing the business, professional, civic, artistic and cultural contributions of more than 59.9 million Hispanics in the nation and our local Nashville community"
Business:
  • Hispanic Heritage Month Lideres breakfast: Entrepreneur  and Business Leaders Roundtable Series
  • Latino Community's Impact to Our Economy: Hispanic Business Leaders leaders reception
  • NAHCC Business & Community Excellence Awards @Waller
Educational/Professional:
  • Diversity Reception & Talk (10/9) – Bringing Nashville professionals together to build the community and develop resources and connections for growth. 
  • Hispanic Entrepreneur mentoring/internship project w/high school students w/ Simon Youth The Academy Schools
  • "I am Remarkable" - 90 min personal branding and empowering workshop for women entrepreneurs. Presented by Google Fiber (10/12)
Artistic & Cultural:
  • Hispanic Heritage 5th Annual Family Festival (9/15)  @RiverGate Mall. In partnership with NAHCC member Rivergate Mall
  • In the community w/NAHCC Foundation: Health, Visual Art, Civic Engagement, Entertainment (Dance & Music)

SUNDAY, September 15 
  • Community Family Festival Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month @RiverGate Mall – 12 pm to 4 pm / Music and dance by Danza Azteca Coatlicue, Osiris Salazar,  Angela Martinez, Yelina Valeria,  Briana Gatica, Ruben Dario, also with  Eliud Trevino, Vero Salcedo with Nashville Noticias; Anel Flores and Jose Quezada with Stereo Nashville Spanish Radio. Supported by Nashville Noticias, El Crucero, La Noticia newspaper ---Hispanic visual artists teaching children, bounce house, face paiting and more -Sponsored by CORNERSTONE FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION​

TUESDAY September 17
  • Hispanic Heritage Month LIDERES breakfast @Belmont University: Changing Demographics Impact on Nashville. – Professional, Entrepreneur & Business Leaders Breakfast Series - Moderator: Dr.  Natalia Pelaz. All SPONSORS recognized
  • Entrepreneur mentorship of high school students from three Simon Youth Academies The Academy at Hickory Hollow (Southeast Nashville), The Academy at OpryMills (East Nashville), The Academy at Old Cockrill (West Nashville) visit NAHCC members businesses and learn.
 
WEDNESDAY 18: Latina Professionals of Chattanooga The Many Faces Withing Our Culture at The Edney Innovation Center
