NAHCC/SCORE BIZ 101 PROGRAM (7 WEEKS)
The Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce our strategic partnership with SCORE to provide strategic solutions to Hispanic business owners through a seven weeks program tailored to the needs of our Hispanic business community.
SCORE is an organization of volunteers/business strategists who provide FREE guidance and expertise including one-on-one counseling, advisory services, and workshops to new and established businesses. SCORE's goal is to help small businesses become or continue to be successful, We look forward to sharing our resources and working with our joint committees to assist the expanding Hispanic market in Nashville.

We're always looking for opportunities to assist small business owners and entrepreneurs", said Mike Moody, Chairman of Nashville SCORE. "Our partnership with the NAHCC allows us to learn from and provide educational services and expertise to an extremely important and growing segment of the Nashville business community."
"We are excited to have this two valuable organizations join forces and provide responsive and versatile solutions in this complex and rapidly changing business environment. This speaks to our ability to develop close, mutually productive relationships with the growing diverse business community of Nashville" said Luis Parodi, NAHCC Chairman.
By September 13th – the joint NAHCC/SCORE committee will meet to review program and determine graduates. Each participant will have taken five SCORE Workshops and two NAHCC workshops. All SCORE workshops will be presented twice before the graduation date and will include:

February 5th - Choose members of the Board:
February 22nd - Business 101 Application submitted to Board for review
February 29th - Board Members deadline to submit revisions
March 7th - Business 101 Application is finalized
March 9th - Board meets to discuss the NAHCC workshop content
March 14th - NAHCC begins to market Business 101 to members
April 25th - Application cutoff date
April 27th - Board meets to choose the Participants
April 29th - Participants receive congratulatory email
May 2nd - SCORE publishes workshop calendar through Sept. NAHCC publishes dates for 2 workshops
May 5th - Business 101 Launch and Networking event - Cinco de Mayo
This will follow the NAHCC Board meeting and we hope to host it at Emma (Bistro).
An SBA Executive and members of the press will be in attendance.
May 10th - Board meets

August 9th - Board meets
September 10th - Business 101 Session is complete
September 13th - Board meets to review program and determine graduates
